Local Architects Build Houses for Charity
The houses are here!
Participating firms will compete, once again, for the coveted title of ‘People’s Choice’ and the $1,000 prize to the local charity of their choice...as well as bragging rights. Ballots tallied from the voting box at Theo Chocolates and online will determine the winner. The public is encouraged to visit Theo to view the extravagant houses in person and cast their vote. In person voting is available at Theo from Saturday, Dec. 5 through Thursday, Dec. 17, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. The winner will be announced by Logan’s Hammer on December 18th. [Look at the 2008 Gingerbread Houses]

“We were overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and creativity the architects brought to the event last year. We knew then that it would turn into an annual competition and it’s great to see the creativity and heart local architects put into this event. This contest is one of the ways we get to give back to our community; we are able to promote some great charities and it is an event that is fun for the whole family.”
